Newly enhanced zipForm® Plus integration helps agents and brokers streamline the standard rental application process. 

FRASER, Mich. – January 31, 2019 After first teaming up in 2017, zipLogix™ and RentSpree are now expanding their efforts to automate rental transactions. Since launch, the successful integration has benefited thousands of zipForm® Plus users nationwide.

Integrating RentSpree’s online standard rental application & screening platform with zipForm® Plus allows all zipLogix™ users to seamlessly evaluate rental applicants using industry-leading screening reports, all at no cost to the agent or broker.

The integration was expanded early this year in California by digitizing, for the first time ever, the California Association of REALTORS®’ widely used “Application to Rent/Screening Fee” (LRA) form and incorporating it into the online screening process. Additional similar integrations are being discussed.

Other recent improvements associated with the integration include the addition of income, identity, and reference verification technology that effectively creates a completely automated screening process.

You can access the list of integrations you are using from the Marketplace tab of a transaction.  This is where the majority of the day-to-day functionality related to the integration is found. 

Certain integrations have additional settings or setup found in the Broker Settings menu, or your personal profile settings.

When users with the Updater integration add a transaction with the required fields, the transaction is shared with your Updater account.  However, the invitation to the user’s client is not sent immediately.  Instead the invitation is held until Updater sends the user a notice 48 hours in advance of when the invitation is scheduled to send to consumers (two weeks prior to the close date on the transaction).  At that time, users can decide if the invitation is still something they need to send to their client. Users with the integration can create transactions without worrying that invitations will be created sent without their knowledge or consent. Users with the Updater integration ZIP-12111

Added a list of custom branch names alongside the list of branch addresses when:

  • Sending a new title order request using the RamQuest integration
  • Setting up a preferred title branch at the office level
  • Setting up a preferred title branch at the agent level

Added the ability to disable the PDF information import function.  Administrator users can navigate to Broker Settings >General > Documents and click Enable PDFstream import to OFF to disable this function for an office or entire brokerage.  Individual users can navigate to their profile > Profile & Settings > Settings > Account and click Automatically check pdf documents for data to be imported into transaction to OFF. Added the ability to import information from a PDF document that was originally created by another Transactions – zipForm Edition user using the Convert to PDF function.  When a user receives the converted PDF and adds it to a transaction, a popup opens, prompting the user to import the information from the document into the transaction, or to just import the document and not the information.  Users can view what is currently in the transaction versus what would be added by the import. Users can opt to manually import data from PDF documents that were created from forms by other zipForm Edition users that are already attached to transactions by locating the PDF and using the more options menu to select Import PDF Data.
Note: PDFs cannot be older than 30 days. If a user imported a PDF into zipForm Edition without logging into the solution (for example, by emailing to transaction), when the user logs in they are automatically prompted to examine any PDFs whose data can be imported. When the information is imported, an entry is added to the History tab of the transaction.

This function automatically populates transactions with data extracted from the PDF, such as property addresses, buyer or seller names and so forth. Users no longer see a popup to order a title request when they have the RamQuest Title Integration enabled and navigate away from the Summary tab of a transaction that does not have an existing title order request. Added the ability to remove data that was added to a transaction as a result of importing it from a PDF document that was created from a converted form by a different zipForm Edition user.  Users can navigate to the History tab of the transaction and click Revert Changes in the relevant record in the history list.   Users can select which fields to keep and which to revert.

Added Adwerx as an integration partner in the Partners menu in the global navigation menu and the Marketplace tab in a transaction.  Adwerx enables users to create locally targeted advertisements for buyers and sellers, and create custom ads to attract new clients. Users with the Adwerx integration enabled for their brokerage can click Start Advertising to navigate to the Adwerx signup/login page for their company and take advantage of negotiated pricing where available.

When users that are associated with a state association create a tour from the Partners menu in the global navigation menu or the Marketplace tab in a transaction, the encrypted URL address that the user is taken to now contains the state association, local association, and brokerage identification numbers included in it. Lone Wolf is excited to announce the release of Compliance Review Stages and Document Approval functionality for zipForm Edition.  These two functions help brokerages to set up highly automated and customizable compliance review checkpoints and document oversight in zipForm Edition, without requiring extra work from agents and administrators.   The functionality provides brokerages with the risk management features they need to avoid legal complications, while enabling agents and administrators to focus on generating revenue.
